"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6
I think it is safe to say that we are all troubled. If we ask, He will take us to Him. The people that don't know Him won't understand where we are going, but we have to try and show them. It is obvious that the word of God is breathed by Him. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Do we get what He means when He says that? We have to try. He is the direction that we have to go. We have to use our bibles as the road map to get there. The lost people don't know what it means to have everlasting life. Even if we lose our way, we will always come back to Him. The word of God is our only way to understand what Jesus has called us to do. There are many people and cultures that don't think Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. We can't fix it over night, but it can be fixed. Christ is the way and we need to follow in that way. Every day we get close to the way, we get closer to the truth, and we get closer to the everlasting life. We are just getting started here. Knowing God's word is the truth; we have everlasting life. LET IT FLOW THROUGH YOU.
I just recently finished "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. I had no idea what this novel was going to be about going into it; all I knew was that our 10th grade English class study it. Right off the bat I noticed that our narrator was not your average Joe. The narrator is death. When I realized this I said to myself, "Oh this is going to be good." The novel is all about the Holocaust and it is shown from a German point of view. Leisel Meminger's mother gives her away to a foster German family. On the trip to this new family, Leisel's brother dies. So right from the start death is there. I'm not going to give you a synopsis of it, because I think you should read it for yourself. Just know that a German family hides a Jew in their basement for a while, and death is around every corner. That last line of the novel really got me though..."I am haunted by humans."
