"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1
This is a great passage to read when you feel anxiety and worry. You need to fall on your knees and pray in the good times and the bad times. Be a praying person and turn to God at all times. You are not doing it alone. Sit down and study the word of God. He is always ready to help. God will hear your cries. The power of prayer is amazing and Godly. This passage also shows His faithful strength. You need to dedicate your life to God. Don't just be a good man, be a Godly man. Pray in all parts of your life. There are some things that continually lead us to God. Prayer is one of those. Worship, the closer you will get to God. Get involved in studying the word of God. Develop and strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ. God is our shelter and strength. He is always ready. Remember that in times of trouble.
I just recently finished "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. I had no idea what this novel was going to be about going into it; all I knew was that our 10th grade English class study it. Right off the bat I noticed that our narrator was not your average Joe. The narrator is death. When I realized this I said to myself, "Oh this is going to be good." The novel is all about the Holocaust and it is shown from a German point of view. Leisel Meminger's mother gives her away to a foster German family. On the trip to this new family, Leisel's brother dies. So right from the start death is there. I'm not going to give you a synopsis of it, because I think you should read it for yourself. Just know that a German family hides a Jew in their basement for a while, and death is around every corner. That last line of the novel really got me though..."I am haunted by humans."
