"Then King David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said: 'Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? And as if this were not enough in your sight, O God, you have spoken about the future of the house of your servant. You have looked on me as though I were the most exalted of men, O Lord God." 1 Chronicles 17: 16-17
Don't fall into the ways of the world. God wasn't calling David to build the temple, He was calling Soloman. Amazing Grace is not earned, it is unmerited. God is in control. God is amazing. Humble yourself and believe that God is in control. You have not done anything too bad or too wrong to experience Amazing Grace. It is given to us. At what point do we realize that our existence is because of Amazing Grace? God will always do what is right. We have the opportunity to experience Grace. God's Grace is with the children. There is nothing Satan can do. They experience Jesus Christ for themselves. Share in the Grace of the Lord. God is so amazing. Thank you to the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, God of all Gods.
I just recently finished "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. I had no idea what this novel was going to be about going into it; all I knew was that our 10th grade English class study it. Right off the bat I noticed that our narrator was not your average Joe. The narrator is death. When I realized this I said to myself, "Oh this is going to be good." The novel is all about the Holocaust and it is shown from a German point of view. Leisel Meminger's mother gives her away to a foster German family. On the trip to this new family, Leisel's brother dies. So right from the start death is there. I'm not going to give you a synopsis of it, because I think you should read it for yourself. Just know that a German family hides a Jew in their basement for a while, and death is around every corner. That last line of the novel really got me though..."I am haunted by humans."
